Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM), Peru. Master’s Degree in University Teaching from Universidad Andrés Bello, Chile (UAB).
She is a founding member of the International Association for Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (IAREBT) and a founding member of the Peruvian Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ASPETECC), the Peruvian representative association of ALAPCCO, the Latin American Federation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. She also serves on the Advisory Council of the Faculty of Psychology at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola.
She has international training in Values-Based Grief Counseling from the Center for Training and Psychotherapy. She has also completed DBT Skills Training with DBT Latinoamérica and the Center for Research, Teaching, and Comprehensive Mental Health Care (Centidos). Additionally, she has received training workshops in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute, particularly in the treatment of personality disorders and couples therapy.
She also holds a specialization in Leadership with a focus on Human Talent Management, as well as Laureate Certification in Online, Hybrid, and Blended Education, including specialization in Online Course Design and Clinical Simulation Training.
She has nearly 20 years of experience in clinical psychology, working with cognitive-behavioral techniques for individual therapy with adolescents, adults, and couples, as well as addressing mental health problems and conducting personal development workshops in companies and educational institutions.
She served as a supervisor in emergency psychological counseling at the ANAR Foundation (Help for Children and Adolescents at Risk). She has also worked at the Specialized Mental Health Institute “Honorio Delgado – Hideyo Noguchi”, contributing to the development of a database of mental health assessment instruments and to the validation and application of the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS).
She is co-author of the research study “Exploratory Study of Factors Affecting the Academic Performance of Students at the School of Medicine of UPC” (2013), conducted in partial fulfillment of her master’s degree.
She has taught in the Faculty of Psychology at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) and in the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Psychology at the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) in the Second Specialization Program in Clinical Psychology.
She currently combines her work as co-director and psychotherapist with teaching, participating in the training school and professional continuing education courses at Psicotrec.
